Hello everyone!

This summer I started a new job in the interior lighting industry. While I still plan to keep RGBKB going, some changes need to be made in order to maintain a high level of customer service and keep delivering quality products.

International shipping will be closed on Jan 1st, 2024. While I want to provide RGBKB keyboards to everyone around the world, I simply do not have the time to support products shipped overseas. If you live outside of the US or Canada, you can either place orders in 2023 or attempt to use a proxy, but be aware that I cannot provide warranty or support for said customers.

Kit customization & extras will be decreased. Sol 3 shipped with 25+ SKUs, which unfortunately is not viable anymore. Future keyboard kits will have fewer color & material options. RGBKB PCBs will still be as feature-packed as possible, of course. Overstocking the group buy orders will also be reduced to 50% of the GB orders, so the best time to get a kit will be during the GB.

I'd like to thank everyone for being such a great community, and I hope I can keep serving you bright and exceptional keyboards. Now for some good news!

All RGBKB projects will be made open source. This includes PCB, 3D models, and all production files needed in order to modify or produce a keyboard, While I don't have any set schedule, you can expect Sol 3 and Phobos to be released first on Github. No support is guaranteed for these, but I'll do what I can.

The Mün 2 Group Buy will run from Oct 1st to Oct 31st, with delivery expected in April 2024. Improvements over Mün 1 include a magnetic case, faster processor, MKi2c compatability, and an option for a wood wrist rest! All metal case kits include a carrying case, brass middle accents and both FR4 and Steel switchplates. A Print-it-Yourself kit is available for those of you with a 3D printer, and includes the steel plates and magnets to make an excellent, toolless case in whatever color/material you like! Mün 2 can also be used unsplit in certain 60% cases, including the BBox60 (requires removing several thread posts) and RGBKB's ChiRP, which will be available at a discount for the group buy.

Sol 3 Case Plates are $25 off! We have 39 units of stock remaining of the original design with a 2.0mm bottom plate. Then we will transition to the 1.5mm bottom plates plus a 0.5mm rubber layer, the same design that Phobos uses. If you still want the heavier design, now is your chance!
